I am a certified pelvic floor physical therapist and use a holistic, whole-body approach to guide you to recovery.
About Me
My name is Alina Valdes and I have been a physical therapist for about 20 years. I have treated every patient population, from babies to the elderly, in the ICU to outpatient settings.
After having my first child and experiencing suboptimal care of my pelvic floor conditions, I realized how little we as a society do for women’s health. I continued my studies to become a pelvic floor physical therapist so that I can educate and empower other women, and help them have better access to pelvic health care.
Pelvic floor function is so important in urinary health, bowel health, sexual health, as well as emotional health. I am grateful for my diverse knowledge and experience. I provide personalized care, and address all aspects of the body as it relates to pelvic floor function. I am passionate in helping women understand how their body functions, and achieve their best selves.
I provide care in the comfort of my patients home in Bergen County, NJ.
In my free time, I enjoy dancing, taking fitness classes, cooking nutritious meals, and spending quality time with my loving family.
